All the Africa Magic shows streaming at the same time on Showmax
You asked and we listened. You can now watch episodes of some of your favourite Africa Magic shows on Showmax at the same time as they air on DStv. Here is the list:
My Flatmates S4 airs daily on Africa Magic and on Showmax
Basketmouth is arguably Nigeria’s funniest comedian. Over the years, he continues to devise new ways to make us laugh. My Flatmates, one of his creations, is a comedy that follows four friends – Frank, Oga Donatus, Willy Willy, and Obus – who share an apartment. All sorts of hilarious events occur as they muddle their way through their chaotic lives in search of the Nigerian dream – living large!
Halita S2 airs daily on Africa Magic and on Showmax
By the end of season one, Halita had started collecting enough material to create a backbone solid enough to deal with the woes of being intertwined with the Zamanis and their endless battles with external forces; but nothing – absolutely nothing, could have prepared her for the news of her paternity. The same family she respected only because of her home education, was in fact, her own. The Zamanis and their allies were still totally torn by Kaka’s untimely death (they had no idea that Kaka was also gunning for their demise), Unfortunate being snuffed out at Kaka’s send-off and to everyone’s relief, Max’s own end in the hands of the Zamani guard. What happens next in season two?
The Johnsons S9 airs daily on Africa Magic and on Showmax
The first family of Lagos is back for a new season of hilarity. One of Nigeria’s firm faves, Mr Lucky and his wife Emu Johnson (played by veterans Charles Inojie and Ada Ameh) have their hands full, with their kids Jennifer, Efe (who narrates each episode), Tari and Blessing all figuring out who they are and what they want in life. Then there’s the hilarious Spiff (Samuel Ajibolo, who won an AMVCA for his role) who has been adopted into the Johnson household, and his dad Pablo (Kunle Bamtefa), who’s always looking to make money.
Tinsel S13 airs daily on Africa Magic and on Showmax
Tinsel is one of Nigeria’s longest-running TV shows and has had audiences enthralled with its high production value and a daily dose of drama, scandals and intrigues. Set against the backdrop of the Nigerian film business, it tells the story of Fred Ade-Williams who owns Reel Studios, and his daughter Brenda Nana Mensah, who owns Odyssey Pictures. The two go head to head, shaking up the whole industry.
Love Come Back S1 airs weekly on Africa Magic and on Showmax
Sometimes the love boat sails into the sunset, but when it hit the rocks, the romance is over. Or is it? This is what Nollywood actor Ibrahim Suleiman explores in the new Africa Magic reality show Love Come Back.
Each episode features a guest who wants to get back with their estranged partner. The guest narrates their story of love lost, then Suleiman interviews them and takes them to see Elizabeth, who plans and executes an idea to help them win back their ex.
We don’t just mean sweet talk, we mean a grand gesture: something extravagant and over the top to win back a lover’s heart!
