BBNaija: All Stars - It's goodbye, Uriel
After three weeks of fighting, love triangles, and sisterhood, Uriel became the second Housemate to leave the BBNaija All Stars House following the jury's decision to pardon Seyi.
The eviction of Uriel, the queen of diary sessions, came as a surprise to both the Housemates and the fans.
Here's all that went down on this week's Sunday Live eviction.
Introducing members of the jury
Teddy A from the Double Wahala season was the first jury member to be introduced for the evening. When asked what he thought about the BBNaija All Stars season, Teddy A said, "so far so good, but I'm here to do a job, somebody has to go home."
Aye, aye cap'n!
Next up was Diana from the Level Up season, who stated that the selection of Housemates was good and that she wished she was there.
Laycon, the winner of the Lockdown season, was the last jury member to be called on stage and he pointed out that he felt like everyone in the House was doing what they feel should be done to get the attention of the audience.
Ebuka chats with the Housemates
This week, Ebuka kicked off his chat with Head of House, Ike, questioning him about what went wrong with his relationship with Venita. Ike replied, saying that it was a miscommunication but things have been resolved.
"I think with Venita we always have maybe some miscommunication. We're good now, but it's just a few miscommunication issues that caused our drama."
Moving on to Whitemoney, Ebuka asked him how he went from wanting something with Cee-C to telling other Housemates not to talk to her unless there's a task. Whitemoney responded saying he and Cross had been disrespected by Cee-C, and consequently, he told Cross that he didn't want to have
anything to do with her unless it was about a task. He added that he already knew about her relationship outside the House, therefore being in a ship with her did not spark any interest in him.
Ebuka then probed Venita about her fight with Pere. Venita replied that she knew Pere outside the house in a professional environment, but was disappointed with what she was seeing inside the house.
"I had my expectations, but they didn't come to pass. I was a bit disappointed, and me being vocal as usual, you know, if I'm saying something to you, or I'm saying something about you, I have to also say it to you," she said.
Ebuka then asked Neo why he was offended when Adekunle refused to let him speak to Venita. Neo explained that while he understands Venita and Adekunle have some kind of relationship, he felt disrespected because "why would I be trying to talk to my family and you who probably don't know her from anywhere, you are trying to step in?"
Wahalur.
Uriel is evicted
After Ebuka announced Uriel's eviction, she joined him on stage to relive her time in the House and answer a few questions. When asked about her feelings for Neo, Uriel reaffirmed her fondness for him, saying:
"What's there not to like about Neo? Neo is an amazing man, and although there is an age difference, he is such a wonderful person, there's nothing to hate about him, and I just felt the feeling was mutual and I wish him the best of luck, and I can't wait to see him when he comes out."
When asked about her run-in with Mercy over being queen during their wager presentation, she said she felt like Mercy being queen was one-sided and everybody deserves the chance to play queen.
She finished her interview by reminding us of how much she misses Neo.
The drama continues in the BBNaija All Stars house, follow the drama 24/7 on Showmax. Also, catch the Black Envelope challenge, and Daily Highlights.
