Die Byl S1-5
In the fifth season of the SAFTA-nominated crime thriller series Die Byl, Byl (Waldemar Schultz) and his team investigate a series of gruesome murders while dealing with an elusive psychopath tied to a powerful network.
Die Byl was up for Best Afrikaans TV Series at the National Film and TV Awards South Africa 2024. At the 2024 kykNET Silwerskerm Awards, Die Byl was also nominated for Best Actor (for Schultz and Marvin-Lee Beukes) and Best Actress (for Amalia Uys and Milan Murray).
New cast this season includes Ty Keogh (Summertide) as Captain William Miller and SAFTA nominee Marcel van Heerden (Suidooster) as Dr Anton Fourie, a competitive pathologist.
