Madam’s daughter is like a real-life princess
Whatever Madam wants, Madam gets! This is something that Evodia Mogase, also known as Madam, loves saying. And it looks like her children are also living according to their mother’s standards. Just like her name, her toddler daughter Princess gets treated like royalty.
Although she can barely speak, let alone understand anything about the latest fashion trends, Princess is fortunate enough to have access to some of the world’s most expensive fashion brands and labels. On the latest episode of the reality show, Madam’s sister-in-law Mapelo took the little girl on a shopping spree just to spoil her. She met up with Madam and her youngest and the fun began.
“It feels so good to be born into a family that loves you. You become so happy. When we said Princess, I didn’t know that she’d be a real princess,” Madam said. The one-year-old, who was draped in Versace, was shown a few items of clothing and shoes and asked which ones she wanted.
Of course, like any baby at that age, Princess probably had no idea what was happening around her and was just happy and excited to be surrounded by her loved ones. Madam expressed how lucky her daughter is to have such an aunt in her life. “She takes care of Princess. She knows where she belongs. Believe me, Princess is treated like a princess.”
Princess’ clothes ended up costing over R4000. Yes, that’s how much money they spent on a baby. It must be so nice to be born into a family that has been waiting years for your arrival!
Madam seems to have scored the jackpot with her in-laws. She and Mapelo also had a chat about lobola negotiations and when the process will begin. It seems the only delay is that Madam’s parents still need to send a letter to her partner’s family.
“Mapelo reminds me of the lobola negotiations as if I’m running away from their proposal. I’m not. I’ve decided that I’m going to do it. So, there’s no need for me to decline.” She added that she’d arrange for the letter to be written and sent to her man’s family.
We hope this process will unfold on the reality show. You can catch new episodes of Madam & Mercy on Showmax.
