Made in South Africa
A wedding planner searches for the perfect man and the perfect big day in Troukoors (Wedding Fever), Showmax’s first Original romcom.
Pop the champagne! Troukoors, the first Showmax Original romcom, is here.
Troukoors follows Jessica (Ilse-Lee van Niekerk), a wedding planner who’s surrounded by love but struggling to find it for herself. Luckily for her, she has two best friends, Abi (Bianca Flanders), a baker with a wandering eye, and Luca (Blyde Smit), a self-confessed geek who also happens to be Jessica’s little sister.
In the second season, all three of them appear to be in a good place – but life tends to throw a few curveballs when we’re least expecting them.

Troukoors is created by SAFTA winner Louis Pretorius and SAFTA nominee Albert Snyman, the creators of critically acclaimed and much-loved shows like Die Boekklub, Fynskrif and Die Boland Moorde, with regular collaborator Nina Swart directing.
