Terms & conditions
1. The Offer
Reconnect to the Showmax General Entertainment Mobile plan, the Showmax General Entertainment All Devices plan or the Premier League Mobile plan (“Showmax Subscription Plans”) and get a once-off 60% discount (“Offer”) on one month's subscription. This Offer is conducted by M-SAT Nigeria Limited (“Showmax”).
2. Eligibility
To Participate in the Offer, you must:
2.1 be a disconnected customer residing in Nigeria;
2.2 accept Showmax’s invitation to take up the Offer, as detailed below:
2.2.1 the invitation by Showmax will be made via email, SMS, push notification and/or phone call;
2.2.2 the invitation will include a promotion code, to be input into the “have a voucher or promo” field once you sign in to your Showmax account with your credentials; and
2.2.3 you are then required to pay the applicable amount using your credit or debit card between 00:00 hours 18 December 2024 and 23:59 hours 18 January 2025 (“Offer Period”).
3. Offer terms and conditions
It is your responsibility to ensure that payment of the applicable amount is received by Showmax in a timely manner. Without limitation, Showmax is not responsible for any difficulties encountered with third party merchants nor for any costs that you may incur to participate in this Offer.
4. Standard terms and conditions for offers
4.1 Your participation in the Offer constitutes your binding acceptance of the terms and conditions.
4.2 The Offer is not open to:
4.2.1 directors, members, partners, agents, employees or consultants of the MultiChoice Group of companies; and
4.2.2 the spouse, life partner, business partner or associate, or the natural or adopted parent, child or sibling of any of the persons specified in paragraph 4.2.1 above.
4.3 The Offer is not transferable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item.
4.4 Save as stated herein, we do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressly or implicitly, as to the Offer.
4.5 We will not be responsible and disclaim all liability for any loss, liability, injury, expense or damage (whether direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential) of any nature, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, which is suffered by your participation in the Offer. If any liability is imputed to us, such liability will be limited to the value of your subscription.
4.6 You, and in the event of your death, your family, dependents, heirs, assignees or any other beneficiaries of your estate, indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim by you, (whether direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential) of any nature, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, relating to any injury, loss, liability, expense and/or damage which you may suffer, howsoever arising, in relation to your participation in this Offer.
4.7 We shall not be liable for any failure to comply with our obligations where the failure is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
4.8 We may cede, assign or novate any or all of our rights and/or any or all of our obligations set out herein to any person or entity without notice to you.
4.9 If you fail to comply with any of these terms and conditions, then without prejudice to any other remedy which we may have, you will be automatically disqualified, and you will forfeit the Offer.
4.10 The failure by us to enforce any of the rights or provisions of the Offer or these terms and conditions will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision.
4.11 These terms and conditions will be construed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
