Salaam Dar is a 93-minute dance, music, and drama film directed and produced by Adam Juma. Set in bustling Dar es Salaam, it tells a powerful story of ambition, resilience, and self-expression through the transformative power of dance and music.
Salaam Dar follows Salima (Winfrida Joseph), a young woman navigating societal pressures, family conflicts, and personal struggles as she seeks to reclaim her dreams. Along the way, she falls in love with B9 (Fadhili Mtimungu), a musician. Together they face battles as they prepare to win a coveted prize.
