The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Reflecting on the journey
The ultimate getaway to Jamaica introduced viewers to another side of some of their favourite Real Housewives stars. Because they were not with their usual co-stars, the ladies were forced to open up to new people and possibly form new relationships. The time away also gave them an opportunity to reflect.
While sitting around a fire, the ladies answered some introspective questions. When Mel was asked about the best thing that has ever happened to her, she shared: "The best thing that ever happened to me in my life was Piet Viljoen. And it moved up, and we started from the bottom, now we're here." For Bev, the best thing has been finding God.
Motherhood over wealth

Christall has always wanted to have a baby and that has been her highlight. "I gave up millions, I gave up billions to have my baby," she told her co-stars. "The billionaire that I was with didn't want to have a baby and I could have married for money, I could have been the richest girl in the whole country. But I decided I'd rather have my baby," she added.
She revealed that she married for very little money so that she could have her child. "And I got him and he's ten years old now. And I wouldn't take back all that money in the universe for him." Nonku, on the other hand, would go back in time if she could. She was asked what she would do differently on the trip. "Maybe look into everything I say. So, everything I think before I say it." Londie wished that she hadn't given so much energy on her argument with Nonku.
Past relationship wounds

When asked what she needs to heal from, Londie replied: "Failed relationships. I went into a relationship when I had not healed from the relationship that actually hurt me the most. And that relationship was the one with the father of my kids." She shared that she rushed into something that she thought was going to heal her. "It did not. I did wait, I tried, it was long. It felt long because I broke up with the father of my kids while I was still pregnant. So, it did feel long for me, but I feel like internally I was not healed yet." She added that she feels more like herself now.
Still on the topic of relationships, Liz told the ladies about what has hurt her, revealing that it was a boyfriend that cheated on her. "Every time I was travelling for an international trip to run a marathon, he would cheat on me whilst I was away."
