The River: Lindiwe and Harriet deal with Goliath
Don’t you just hate it when you miss one episode of The River? You blink, and discover that you’re really behind and have a lot to catch up on. Fortunately for you, we’re right here to keep you updated – and you can catch every episode of The River on Showmax, express from the 1Magic broadcast.
Goodbye, Goliath – for good
Where can we apply to get a friend like Harriet Khoza? Seriously, where can we find such a loyal person? Lindiwe Dlamini is one lucky woman; it took one conversation to convince her friend to help her to get rid of her biggest nightmare, Goliath, and it was a done deal.
The two ladies, who are always linked to one crime or another, worked on a plan to make sure that they handle this stumbling block for good. On Friday evening, viewers watched as these boss ladies made sure that Goliath never sees the light of day ever again. When he unexpectedly came to Lindiwe’s house, they were shocked and quickly thought on their feet – Lindiwe took a knife and stabbed Goliath several times. They then moved the body to another location (around the house).

However, just as they were celebrating, he came back (why he didn’t die after being stabbed is still a mystery). This time, instead of using a knife, they used a gun to shoot him. Even that didn’t work because this man just kept coming back.
So, what do you do in this situation? Well, if you’re Lindiwe and Harriet, you use your expensive car to run him over. We watched as they made sure that he’s really dead this time around. After succeeding, the two besties went or a drink to celebrate not only the fact that their biggest headache was dealt with, but the fact that Lindiwe was now one rich lady. To show just how much she appreciates her friend, Mrs Dikana gave Harriet R10 million. Now that’s the type of friend we want in our lives.
A toast to the diamond sale going through, to mutual friendships, becoming richer and just living her best life!#TheRiverXTheQueen #TheRiver1Magic

Dimpho’s matric dance arrives
We won’t lie, we were really happy to see Dimpho looking beautiful in her matric dance dress. It was a proud moment for all of us, it was like realising that our baby sister is now all grown up.
While we were all cheering for her and her date on the night, we were never ready for her to get drunk. She decided to use this once in a lifetime moment to not only celebrate her achievements (and final year of high school), but to indulge in alcohol. Although her date kept telling her to stop drinking, Dimpho just wouldn’t listen.
Dimpho has been well-behaved the whole night and reckons that one glass of champagne will not do any harm.#TheRiver1Magic

Anyway, you can image what happened when she got back home – her mother and brother Cobra were not impressed. We think they should let this one slide because she’s been well-behaved throughout the year. We’re assuming this won’t happen again, Dimpho?
