Where to see the cast of Outlaws S2 on Showmax
With the first two episodes of Outlaws Season 2 having just dropped on Showmax, we return to the world of two families at war: the Zulu, cattle-farming Biyelas and the Basotho, cattle-raiding Ts’eoles. Produced by Tshedza Pictures, the powerhouse behind record-holders Showmax Originals like Adulting and Youngins and the International Emmy-nominated The River, the fan-favourite series was named Best Telenovela at the 2024 South African Film and Television Awards, and fans have been waiting for the second season with bated breath.
Season 2 welcomes new cast member Noluthando Ngema (Mbali in Ithonga) stepping into the role of Sihle Biyela. She gives up her entire family and community to build a life with her lover, Leruo Ts’eole (played by Lehlohonolo Mayeza). Meanwhile, double SAFTA winner Thembinkosi Mthembu (Dingiswayo in Shaka iLembe) returns as her brother Bandile, and fresh faces include Thandolwethu Zondi (Bolt in GO!), recently nominated for Best Newcomer for the National Film and TV Awards 2025, plus Mamodibe Ramodibe (Sihle in Black Tax).

What happens in Outlaws S2?
In Outlaws Season 2, we return to a world forever changed by the chaos and heartbreak of the first season. Sihle and Leruo’s forbidden love, which once defied all odds, now stands as both a symbol of hope and a reminder of the pain between the Biyela and Ts’eole families. As they try to build a new life together, deep wounds and old grudges between the Zulus and Sothos threaten to tear everything apart. This season explores whether love can truly heal generations of hatred or if some divides run too deep to mend.

But in the new season, grief and rage reshape him. After losing his parents and seeing his sister Sihle fall for a man from the family that killed them, Bandile’s need to protect his own drives him to the edge. Noluthando Ngema as Sihle Biyela

Noluthando Ngema replaces Nirvana Nokwe as Sihle Biyela, a woman who gives up her family and community for love. In Season 1, her epic romance with Leruo Ts’eole (played by Lehlohonolo Mayeza) turns tragic when his cattle raid leads to her parents’ deaths. Torn between love and loss, Sihle must face the painful truth that their relationship is built on betrayal. This is one of Noluthando’s breakthrough roles, alongside her role as Mbali Dladla in Ithonga. In a recent interview, she opened up about joining Outlaws and what the role has meant for her growth as an actress.
Slindile Nodangala as Deli Biyela

Slindile Nodangala plays Aunt Deli Biyela, the strong, proud matriarch of the Biyela family. After Bheki and Nandi’s passing, she and her husband, Emmanuel (played by Ncibijana Madlala), returned to the farm to help keep the family legacy alive. She captivated viewers as Deliwe Mbambo in Sibongile and the Dlaminis, starred as Nolwazi in The River and played a prison governor Beauty in Lockdown.

At 20, he works at Okhabeni and quickly falls for Buang (played by Mamodibe Ramodibe), a young Sotho domestic worker, who is Nyakallo’s sister. This role marks another breakthrough for Thandolwethu, who previously impressed audiences as Nyembezi in Shaka iLembe.
The cattle-raiding Ts’eoles
Lehlohonolo Mayeza as Leruo Ts’eole

Lehlohonolo Mayeza plays Leruo Ts’eole, Moretlo’s eldest son and the composed leader of her cattle-raiding syndicate. His world shifts when he falls for Sihle Biyela, the daughter of the man he’s been stealing from. Their forbidden love ignites a war between families, costing lives and deepening divisions between the Zulus and Sothos. Outlaws marks Lehlohonolo Mayeza’s first and breakthrough role, one that has changed his life. He speaks about this in a recent interview.
Mmabatho Mogomotsi as Moretlo Ts’eole

You can also catch the rising star as the police captain in 016FM and he also played the role of Nqetho in Shaka iLembe S2.
Seipati Mahamu as Nyakallo

Seipati Mahamu plays Nyakallo, Tlali’s fearless partner in crime. She is sharp, seductive, and dangerously strategic. Once in love with Leruo, she turns to Tlali after being left for a Zulu girl, forming a “ride-or-die” alliance fueled by revenge. You’ve seen her as Phindile in the hit drama series Adulting S1 and she also featured in Isithembiso.
Mamodibe Ramodibe as Buang

Mamodibe Ramodibe plays Buang, a young, sweet, and diligent Sotho domestic worker at the Biyela farm. Sister to Nyakallo, she keeps her head down and focuses on work, but finds herself drawn to Mthunzi, Emmanuel’s son.
