Black Dollar (2021)
Life is tough for Mateo – he’s 21 and living in a poverty-stricken Lusaka suburb hustling to make a living. When the opportunity to scam a local politician presents itself, the temptation is too great to resist. He convinces the man that a pile of black paper is in fact dyed-stained currency, and all that stands between them and fabulous riches is a special chemical that can remove the dye.
Will the politician realise it’s all been a scam, and what will happen when he does?
Black Dollar is directed by David Kazadi and stars the likes of Elliot Khondwani Zulu and Kangwa Chileshe.
