So, how did Betty become the Betty Kyallo?

Betty says her career started at Daystar University when she was studying mass communication. Even though she was only a student, she behaved as though she was already the news anchor she wanted to be. She even dressed the part, wearing heels and suit jackets instead of the jeans and hoodies her classmates favoured.

But her glowing media career was not a smooth journey—she had to put in her time, starting out as an intern at KTN and then hosting a 5 am car show (when everyone was still sleeping) before getting her break as the news anchor we know and love.

In previous episodes of Kyallo Kulture, we learned about how Betty grew up in poverty and how, in many ways, her determination not to experience that poverty again is what drove her to succeed—not only in her TV career but afterwards, when she left TV to pursue other business opportunities in her life, including her super-successful salon spa concept—Posh Palace.

While episode 4 gives viewers a great inside-peek into the making of Betty Kyallo, it’s the making up of the Kyallo sisters that has kept us glued to the screen these past few weeks. So when we catch up with them at King Post, we’re on the edge of our seats… It’s the first time the three are together since last week’s failed intervention by Gloria. Will this be the moment they finally kiss and make up?

Spoiler alert! Yes, and it’s so worth the wait!

Now that the sisters are besties again, we can’t wait to spend more time with them. Don’t miss a moment—catch new episodes of Kyallo Kulture every Friday.
