Lost S1-6
Adventure drama Lost (2004-2010) changed television for viewers and shows. Everything you think you know, you have no idea. Each episode brings you closer to the finale, but it also makes you ask more questions.
What’s the worst thing about flying? Crashing. The show starts on an abandoned island with the survivors strewn across the beach, some alive, some dead and most injured by the burning wreckage. They’re all strangers but they’ve got to get along – or die
Nothing is what it seems – like polar bears on a tropical island. But they all have meaning. Lost also introduces a cast of then-unknowns who’re big names now – Naveen Andrews, Emilie de Ravin, Matthew Fox, Josh Holloway, Daniel Dae Kim, Evangeline Lilly.
Plus, it’s created by Damon Lindelof (The Leftovers and Watchmen) and JJ Abrams (Star Wars) – so it’s complex but addictive, writes Robert Bianco of USAtoday.com: “A plane crash. An uncharted island. Frightened survivors. Abrams has fashioned a totally original, fabulously enjoyable lost-at-sea series. He’s taken an outlandish Saturday-serial setup and imbued it with real characters and honest emotions, without sacrificing any of the old-fashioned fun.”
