Mercy and Omashola’s fight during the BBNaija Pepper Dem reunion
If the first week was a get-together for the former housemates, the latest BB Naija Pepper Dem Reunion episodes, now streaming on Showmax, were a reminder of the epic gbas gbos we witnessed in the house last year and the entertainment value of the Big Brother show. There were tense moments that led to fights, emotional moments that led to tears and addressing of unfinished business!
Highlights from the latest episodes of the BBNaija 4 reunion on Showmax:
Mercy and Omashola’s fight
The epic moment was undoubtedly the heated exchange between Omashola and Mercy Lambo.
Back in the house, Omashola insinuated Mercy is a runs babe—“She dey dance dey look 2Face, dey shake bobby, dey shake yansh, make 2Face know say in case you want, you can get it,” he tells Seyi—an inexcusable statement he said was spoken out of anger. He and Mercy had fought over a comment he made after sharing a bath with her and Ike, in which he implied they had sex in the bathroom. Mercy didn’t find that funny because there was no sex and that it was another insensitive moment from Omashola.
The two got into a heated argument that ended with Mercy shoving Omoshola, and the housemates got involved before the situation escalated. Omoshola apologized later. “I apologise if I called you prostitute,” he tells her.
Betrayals everywhere
Then there were the betrayals in the house. Mercy spoke about her girl Venita pushing a false narrative against her. “That girl is a chameleon,” she says of Venita, in a clip from the Pepper Dem Season.
Ella also spoke about being betrayed by some of the housemates, especially Lambo. Mercy says that’s because Ella wanted to be friends with her and also wanted her man, Ike.
Now, here’s the twist: Ike, who’s the bone of contention, confesses to leading Ella on despite having no emotional interest in her while fully aware that his actions might hurt her.

Gossip and more gossip
Aproko is a sweet part of the Big Brother show; different people curled up in bed, discussing sweet gist about their fellow housemates. When host Ebuka asked some housemates if they gossiped during their stay at the house, most of them expectedly said no because of the stigma attached to the word. Jackye was one of them, and when she was explaining her philosophy on gossip, Ebuka pulled receipts, a video of her telling Khafi, “Oya, let’s gossip.”
