Media personalities Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi and Tolu Oniru-Demuren aka Toolz thrilled fans for years with their exciting hand-over as On-Air Personalities at The Beat 99.9 FM.
Now there’s even more banter as the ladies join forces on their hit vodcast, Off Air with Gbemi and Toolz where they discuss everything from entertainment gossip to relationship advice and everything in between.
As friends to the stars, and highly influential OAPs, fans can expect to get the inside scoop on some of the juiciest industry gist, plus the ladies’ no holds barred hot takes. Every episode promises to flow with hot gist and unfiltered opinions that will leave fans yearning for more.
A total straight shooter, Gbemi has a hosting experience of over 14 years and has won several awards including the On-Air Personality of the Year award at the 2008 Future Awards. She has also starred in the web series, Our Best Friend’s Wedding. Asides from being an entertainment figure, she also runs media consulting firm Speakerboxx Production and has a shoe line for women, Gbemisoke shoes.
The queen of shade, Toolz is the Group Director of Programs at Megalectrics (operators of Classic 9.3FM and The Beat 99.9 FM) where she also hosts The Midday Show. She has won several awards including the On-Air Personality of the Year award at the 2012 Future Awards.
