The Girl in the Spider’s Web (2018)
Hacker Lisbeth Salander is thrust back into the hornet’s nest when she’s roped in to retrieve a computer program capable of accessing the world’s nuclear codes from the servers of the NSA. When she’s double-crossed, she finds herself on the run from a shady organisation known as The Spider.
Functioning as a sequel and reboot of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) which starred Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, Spider’s Web stars Claire Foy as Lisbeth Salander and Sverrir Gudnason as Mikael Blomkvist.
The London Evening Standard said it’s “A fast-paced, high-octane espionage action flick with superhero flourishes.”
