The Real O’Neals
90s star Martha Plimpton (The Goonies, Raising Hope) stars as the matriarch of a very (she thinks) traditional Irish-Catholic American family. She takes their reputation very seriously, so she’s devastated when all their secrets come rushing out. She and her husband are headed for divorce, their eldest son confesses he’s anorexic, and their younger son comes out as gay. Their youngest, daughter Shannon, is a budding criminal, running a scam fleecing people of their cash.
The family has to relook at everything they thought they knew about themselves and each other, in this funny, sweet comedy.
