The River: Will Cobra kill himself?
Cobra has put his family through hell. From the first time he was introduced to us on the show, we knew that he was a criminal and a troublemaker. And, it seems like no matter how much he attempts to become a better person, he just can’t help but hold on to his past life.
Cobra records suicidal video
He took things too far after stealing over R30 000 from his sister Tumi’s bank account. In his defence, he was doing this in order to make sure that he bribes his way into becoming a traffic officer. He might have gotten the job, but he certainly lost all respect from his family and friends. As if scamming his sister was not enough, Cobra also stole his friend Khabzela’s taxi and went on a drinking spree with some friends. The night ended with his causing an accident which resulted in one of his passengers – a woman he was having a fling with – ending up in ICU. Now Cobra has the whole world against him, including his siblings, friends and the woman’s family.
So, what do you do when you’ve messed up so much that no one wants anything to do with you? Well, Cobra seems to think that taking his own life is the only way to get out of this dark hole. We watched as he recorded a suicidal video apologising to his loved ones for all his wrongdoings and letting them down.
Lindiwe and Zweli rekindle their romance
While the Mokoenas are going through the most drama, the Dikana family is now happier than ever. We figured this day would come, but we didn’t think it would happen this soon. Zweli, who has been angry at everyone after he got back from the hospital, has decided to give his relationship with Lindiwe another chance. She’s been taking care of him since he got back home and this might have made Zweli realise just how much he still loves her.
They spoke about a lot of things and it’s quite obvious that they never stopped loving each other. Zweli has made it clear that he doesn’t care about the past and asked Lindiwe to marry him again. “Yes, a thousand times yes,” Lindiwe responded.
We guess love always wins. We won’t lie, though, we’re a bit torn here. On the one hand, we’re happy that there’s peace in the Dikana home and that Lindiwe and Zweli’s love has conquered all. But on the other hand, we’re definitely not happy that Lindiwe managed to kill Gail and is seemingly getting away with it. Something tells us that the truth will come out someday …
