Original Sin: Sex
How has our understanding of sex evolved since the middle of the 20th Century? That’s the question this probing documentary seeks to answer.
Examining all the inventions, trends and technological breakthroughs that have affected how we come to think about sex, from the automobile to Ashley Madison to sexting to sex robots, the documentary reveals the seminal role sex plays in our relationships with not only our intimate partners but with society as a whole.
Deadline says, “Closer to home, the series will detail how sex education over the years has taught us more about fears and anxieties than sex, the usefulness of sex scandals in exposing political hypocrisy and how concepts of gender and sexuality are being redefined by such public figures as Laverne Cox and Caitlyn Jenner.”
