Terwyl Ek Wag S1
Nataniël doesn’t mess around in the kitchen – you can already stream his cooking shows Die Nataniël Tafel, and Edik Van Nantes on Showmax, and he’s taking over Cape Town’s winelands for his new production.
Terwyl Ek Wag sees the host spending three months on a special farm between Cape Town and Stellenbosch that has roots to his French ancestor Jean le Roux. And that’s where Nataniël will be whipping up delicious dishes inspired by his heritage while also exploring the influence of the French-Huguenots on SA’s agriculture, wine and cooking industries.
“Terwyl Ek Wag might sound like just another cooking show,” says Nataniël, “but it’s much more and apt for these strange times. History repeats regularly and in various ways.”
Producer Berdene Burger adds: “Every adventure with Nataniël promises to be filled with resourceful ideas, useful info and is visually pleasing with lots of entertainment. Nataniël weaves practical everyday life with enchanting inspiration.”
