The Real Housewives of Durban S3: Nonku Williams takes her relationship to the next level
Nonku Williams of The Real Housewives of Durban is head over heels in love and she wants the whole world to know about it. In case you’re wondering how serious this relationship is, well, it’s a big deal! The single mother is even ready for her new man to meet her children. However, not everyone thinks this is a great idea.
Speaking to Mbali and Slee on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Durban Season 3, Nonku excitedly revealed to the ladies: “I’m happy.” She added: “I’m committed. The guy obviously wants more. What we’re planning is that we want to plan for our children to meet.”
What if it ends in tears?
While they’re excited about their friend’s love life, Slee and Mbali feel that it’s too soon for Nonku to be taking this serious step. Slee’s view is that Nonku met this person “10 minutes ago” and isn’t sure about this whole thing. But it seems Nonku knows where her relationship is headed, even though she’s only been in it for two whole months.

Also, it doesn’t seem like she really believes in waiting, especially when something feels right.
“When is the right time? Like, it’s as if there’s time frames for everything in life,” Nonku said. Mbali brought up the possibility of the relationship not working out, which would have a negative impact on Nonku’s kids. “You’d have to start from the beginning and tell them he’s gone and introduce someone else,” she said.
It’s too soon…
Slee, who has come out of a six-year relationship, also added some pearls of wisdom. “You both have kids individually, separately, right? So, when you try to sort of blend that family, when he loves your kids as his own he will have to discipline them like he disciplines his own kids.” She concluded that Nonku must have seen this man around his own children and that must have made her comfortable enough to bring him into her own space.

“I don’t think it’s fine. However, different strokes for different folks. But for me, I would have waited,” Slee said. Nonku is pretty much happy at this stage of her relationship. It’s only been a few weeks and she’s already received an expensive car from her man. We guess these days, that’s all it takes to see whether someone is serious about you or not.
