The Last Rifleman (2023)

Golden Globe nominee Pierce Brosnan (Mamma Mia, James Bond) stars in The Last Rifleman as a World War II veteran who escapes his care home in Northern Ireland and embarks on a tough but inspirational journey to France to attend the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings, finding the courage to face the ghosts of his past.

Inspired by true events, The Last Rifleman also stars Clémence Poésy (Tenet), Screen Actors Guild nominees Jürgen Prochnow (The English Patient) and Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones), and Emmy nominee John Amos (Coming to America), who passed away earlier this year.

At the Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTA), Brosnan and Prochnow were nominated for Best Lead Actor and Supporting Actor respectively.
