The Real Housewives of Lagos season 2 episode 6: “Please, leave me alone"
The Real Housewives of Lagos are still at the Eko resort, but they are trying new things this wonderful sunny morning in Lagos.
Iyabo has come up with a team-bonding activity. With Dr Rommel’s help, she’s guiding and hyping the ladies to solve their puzzles. It’s the kind of activity needed to break the tension that has prevailed during their stay at the resort.
“I feel like this game was the perfect injection that we all needed after such a tense atmosphere with the fight between Faith and Mariam,” Chioma remarks. “All the ladies needed the positive energy, the positive vibe, and the burst of adrenaline.”
After the game, Chioma, Tania, and Dr Rommel have a conversation. They question him about bringing up his issues with Faith in front of everyone. Rommel tries to rationalise his actions, but the ladies do not accept them. Chioma advises him to speak to Faith because she brought him to the group and deserves a private resolution. Rommel agrees — admitting Faith remains his friend and he wants to mend their relationship.
Faith meets Tiannah

Away from the resort, Faith meets Tiannah for lunch, and they seem very comfortable with each other.
Tiannah tells Faith she didn’t like that she and Mariam fought and disrupted Iyabo’s event but commends her courage to apologise to Iyabo later.
“That was so graceful of you, I started liking you again,” Tiannah says.
She then mentions that Dr Rommel had plenty to say about Faith, but she won’t be a messenger, delivering gossip from one friend to another.
Faith downplays the friendship with Dr Rommel, claiming the doctor barely knows her and they are only getting to know each other.
“December 8,[2022], that’s when I started talking to him,” she says as she flashes a screenshot of their first conversation. “That [man] doesn’t know where I live in LA. He doesn’t know me!”
Mariam wants another child

We get to see Mariam have a mother-daughter moment with her daughter, Nova, in this episode of The Real Housewives of Lagos. She desires another child, a sibling for her first, and she’s seeing a doctor for it.
“For a woman, your biological clock is ticking once you’re thirty-five,” she tells her cousin Hadiza Alao Akala. “I’m thirty-six, going to be thirty-seven this year, and I don’t want to be in my forties and keep trying [for a child].”
Her cousin is accompanying her to see a specialist to learn more about surrogacy. Mariam is anxious and scared and gets emotional during her confessional. She is relieved after the doctor explains the process and goes home excited.
Chioma’s philanthropy

The first season of The Real Housewives of Lagos highlighted Chioma’s philanthropy. In this episode, she and members of The Goodway Foundation visit a community in Ikotun, where some residents are struggling with basic amenities and have to travel long distances to get water to cook and bathe.
“The entire period that they’ve lived here, they never had water,” Chioma explains. “It’s completely ludicrous.”
Through her foundation, she’s building a borehole that will serve the residents, and the project is being funded by proceeds from her yard sale. She also visits one of the widows in the community whom she had previously visited in the first season and gifted funds to help her business and livelihood.
Faith meets Dr Rommel

Finally, the much-anticipated showdown we are all here for! Faith and Dr Rommel finally have a one-on-one conversation. She’s dressed in all white while he’s rocking an all-black ensemble. A coincidence?
The cosmetic doctor attempts small talk but Faith cuts him off, insisting they address the issues at hand.
“I wanted to hear from you, your point of view, as per what happened at the resort,” Rommel replies. He mentions he doesn’t want to follow hearsay and wants to hear her side, but Faith clarifies she’s not here for her issues with the women. She wants Rommel to discuss his issues with her. That’s why she’s here.
Rommel says a few things, but nothing as substantial as what he told Tiannah, or Chioma and Tania.
Faith goes in on him and then walks away. “I am already out of here because, at the end of the day, you’re not even my friend to start with.”
