The Real Housewives of Nairobi episode 5 recap: Peeling the mask
The latest episode of The Real Housewives of Nairobi opens with Lisa's fashion event at Lifestyle, where tensions are already high between Susan and Minne. It's clear that whenever they're in the same space, sparks fly!
Later, Minne invites Lisa for a morning workout. Sonal arrives soon after, and the group begins their workout with personal trainer Rio before enjoying mimosas. It's great to see Sonal back in the fold after her trip to London.
This episode introduces Catherine, also known as Dr C, a real estate mogul who launched Kenya's first lifestyle magazine and a new wine brand. She works hard and plays harder, and she loves to shop. We love her already!
The ladies all end up at Minne's Hollywood glam-themed event, held at the Kenyan National Theatre. Minne takes to the stage and expresses her love of the theatre and acting, and how she always wanted to be a star. She impresses the group with her sincerity, and they each take turns telling a story about who they are. At the end of the evening, the group decides they want a clean slate and to start fresh without any drama. However, Minne and Susan still can't let go of their beef, and tempers flare before the night ends.
