Terms & Conditions

1.     The Offer

Subscribe to a single Showmax plan (the Showmax General Entertainment Mobile plan, the Showmax General Entertainment All Devices plan or the Premier League Mobile plan) and get an additional Showmax plan (“Offer”).

As part of the Offer, if you subscribe to the Showmax General Entertainment Mobile plan or Showmax General Entertainment All Devices plan, we will add you one month of the Showmax Premier League Mobile plan. If you subscribe to the Showmax Premier League Mobile plan, we will add you one month of the General Entertainment Mobile plan.

This Offer is conducted by M-SAT Nigeria Limited (“Showmax”).

2.     Eligibility

To Participate in the Offer, you must:

2.1         be a new, active or disconnected customer residing in Nigeria; and

2.2         subscribe to any of the Showmax plans between 00:00 hours 1 March and 23:59 hours 31 March 2025 (“Offer Period”). Customers who have subscribed for bundled plans (bundle of any of the General Entertainment and Premier League plans) are excluded from this Offer.

3.     Offer terms and conditions

3.1               It is your responsibility to ensure that your subscription payment is received by Showmax in a timely manner. Without limitation, Showmax is not responsible for any difficulties encountered with third party merchants nor for any costs that you may incur to participate in this Offer

3.2                 Eligible customers will automatically be upgraded to enjoy the additional plan. Subject to system dependencies, the plan upgrade may be effected within 72 hours of receipt of payment by Showmax. If the upgrade is not effected, Showmax will endeavour to effect the upgrade within the shortest possible time following notification by you.

3.3                 This is a limited Offer and will be given on a first-come first-served basis. The Offer may end earlier if the limit is reached.

4.     Standard terms and conditions for offers

4.1         Your participation in the Offer constitutes your binding acceptance of the terms and conditions.

4.2         The Offer is not transferable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item.

4.3         Save as stated herein, we do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressly or implicitly, as to the Offer.

4.4         We will not be responsible and disclaim all liability for any loss, liability, injury, expense or damage (whether direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential) of any nature, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, which is suffered by your participation in the Offer. If any liability is imputed to us, such liability will be limited to the value of your subscription.

4.5         You, and in the event of your death, your family, dependents, heirs, assignees or any other beneficiaries of your estate, indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim by you, (whether direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential) of any nature, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, relating to any injury, loss, liability, expense and/or damage which you may suffer, howsoever arising, in relation to your participation in this Offer.

4.6         We shall not be liable for any failure to comply with our obligations where the failure is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

4.7         We may cede, assign or novate any or all of our rights and/or any or all of our obligations set out herein to any person or entity without notice to you.

4.8         If you fail to comply with any of these terms and conditions, then without prejudice to any other remedy which we may have, you will be automatically disqualified, and you will forfeit the Offer.

4.9         The failure by us to enforce any of the rights or provisions of the Offer or these terms and conditions will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision.

4.10      These terms and conditions will be construed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
