Dìdi (2024)
In 2008, during the last month of summer before high school begins, an impressionable 13-year-old Taiwanese American boy learns what his family can't teach him: how to skate, how to flirt, and how to love your mom.
Dìdi won 21 awards internationally, including the Film Independent Spirit prizes for Best First Feature and Best First Screenplay, as well as the US Dramatic Audience Award and Special Jury award for its ensemble cast at Sundance. Izaac Wang was up for the 2025 Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Actor/Actress.
Dìdi has a 95% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes. As The Spectator says, “It’s an absolute joy. It’s funny, moving, authentic and takes you right back to being 13. (Agh!).”
