Die Geval van Gideon
Gideon is in Joburg for an IT conference – and some online dating. When three women at the same hotel swipe right for him, he thinks it’s going to be the best night of his life – not the nightmare it soon becomes.
Francois Jacobs (Karel in Kaalgat Karel) stars as Gideon, with 2024 Silwerskerm Supporting Actress nominee Carla Classen (Dr Karima Salie in Hartklop), Christel van den Bergh (Renate in Getroud Met Rugby), and Robyn Rossouw (The Fix, Swartwater) as his dates.
The 48-minute thriller is written and directed by Christo Davids. The former 7de Laan actor won a SAFTA last year as part of the writing team on Good Men and has directed multi-award-winning shows like Legacy. Solomon Cupido produces through Sturvy Pictures (Frankie en Filipe).
