Empini Season 1 episodes 25-26 recap: Turning Point
Empini takes a dramatic turn as the battle for MPS ownership heats up, family loyalties are tested, Ndoni’s persistence leads to shocking consequences and Masasa tries to keep Zenzele away from his father’s dangerous world. The stakes have never been higher. Here’s the recap:
Ndoni faces the fallout

Ndoni’s decision to expose the Pastor as a thief and predator backfires in a big way. Thobani and Uhuru blame her for damaging MPS’s business and Ndoni is suspended indefinitely, without pay.
Zenzele’s dilemma

Zenzele wrestles with Khaya’s offer to return to Johannesburg and join MPS. But Sasa is adamant - she doesn’t want her son anywhere near the dangers of his father’s world, where those who tried to kill Khaya might target Zenzele next. She warns her son not to be charmed by his father’s promises.
MPS ownership shifts

In a shocking move, Winnie signs away the family’s rights to MPS, and the company is sold. Uhuru breaks the news to the General, who is livid that Uhuru didn’t negotiate a better deal. The sale leaves the future of MPS more uncertain than ever.
Ndoni’s integrity is recognised

In a twist of fate, members of the church board meet with Uhuru to reinstate the contract with MPS, citing Ndoni’s integrity as the reason - ironically, the very quality that got her fired. Ndoni’s moral stand finally pays off, even if she’s not around to see it.
Zenzele’s decision

Zenzele decides to take up his father’s offer and return to Joburg, but first, he must convince his mother. Sasa reluctantly agrees, but not without warning him to trust no one. Zenzele’s return could be the lifeline for MPS.
Uhuru gives Ndoni another chance

Uhuru shows up at Ndoni’s place unannounced, offering her a chance to return to MPS - but only in an admin role. Ndoni refuses, preferring to serve out her suspension rather than accept a position that diminishes her value.
Ndoni returns to her mission

Ndoni visits Madlopa and refocuses on her original mission: clearing her father’s name. With Khaya dead, the truth behind the cover-up may still lie within MPS, and Ndoni is determined to find it.
A cliffhanger ending

The week ends on a cliffhanger as Zenzele arrives at MPS and declares himself as Khaya’s first-born son and legitimate heir! What will happen next? Will Zenzele’s bold move save MPS? How will Uhuru and the General react to his claim? And as Ndoni digs deeper, what truths will she uncover?
