On average, it takes three to four months to plan and execute a funeral in Ghana. The show exposes the elaborateness of Ghanaian funerals while exploring unique traditions and fanfare. Funerals in Ghana are a celebration of life and a chance for families to give their loved ones a proper send-off, from creating fantasy coffins to holding long ceremonies to being as flamboyant as the families’ budgets allow.
