Under the Influence follows Dami, a fresh university graduate whose life takes an unexpected turn after an argument with his brother. All the episodes are available to binge on Showmax.
In this Nigerian Showmax Original drama series, Dami, played by Iremide Adeoye (WURA), is a fresh university graduate who relocates to Lagos to live with his older brother, Ayo, portrayed by Bobby Ekpe (Love Unplanned). But life in Lagos is nothing like he’d expected, and living with his brother provides its own challenges.
To vent his frustrations, Dami rants on social media – and his post goes viral. As his online following grows, Dami learns what it means to juggle life in the spotlight, newfound fame and tough family dynamics.
Directed and written by UrbanGidi founder and creative director, Wande Thomas, (Lara of Lagos, Napped, and The Smart Money Woman 2), the series features exciting breakout stars Eva Ibiam, Dante Okere, Isioma Oke-Nwosu and Funmbi Oguntoye.
