PL Off Season Terms and Conditions (“PL Off Season Terms”)

1. Introduction

1.1 Showmax is offering qualifying and a select of its Subscribers this Premier League Off Season deal from 21 June 2024 until 07 July 2024. These are the terms and conditions for the Premier League Off Season promotion (the “Terms”) that shall be available to existing Showmax Premier League Subscription Plan subscribers.

1.2 These Terms are supplementary to the Showmax Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use that can be found at https://www.showmax.com/za, and apply to the use of the Showmax Service for the duration of the Premier League Off Season. Please read these Terms carefully. By participating in this Premier League Off Season promotion, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and agree to abide by and bound thereto.

1.3 “Showmax Service” means the service offered by Showmax which is the trade name and trademark proprietary to:

1.3.1 Showmax SA (Proprietary) Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Showmax”) if you are a customer that is resident in South Africa; or

1.3.2 M-SAT Nigeria Limited if you are a customer that is resident in Nigeria; or

1.3.3 Showmax Africa Holdings Limited if you are a customer that resident in Kenya.

1.4 The Showmax Service may be accessed through an application or a website and, which allows the subscriber to access Live TV, Video On Demand (VOD) film, series and kids content on their Devices.

1.5 Showmax subscribers can stream or temporarily download television shows, movies, video or audio clips and other audio-visual materials ('Content') by using an electronic device which is capable of connecting to the Internet, including but not limited to computers, mobile phones, tablets, media players, smart TVs, decoders, set-top boxes, gaming consoles, media adaptors, and other similar devices, which devices comply with the technical requirements to access the Content as set out on the Showmax Website ('Access Device').

1.6 In order for Showmax customers to access and receive the Showmax Service using certain Access Devices, Showmax has developed or made available the Showmax software application ('Showmax App'). Access Device, Showmax Device and Showmax App constitute a Showmax Platform.

1. 7 You can access and receive the Showmax Service through the showmax.com website and any other platforms that Showmax may make available for receiving the Showmax Service.

2. Premier League Off Season Terms

2.1 The Premier League Off Season promotion is only applicable and valid in the Republic of South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya, respectively (the “Territories”).

2.2 The Premier League Off Season promotion is a Showmax offer to eligible customers to access the one (1) month Showmax Entertainment Mobile Subscription Plan starting from 21 June 2024 until 07 July 2024 (the “Promo Period”) and it is offered to following eligible customers:

• Customers who in the past had the Premier League Mobile Subscription Plan and repurchase a new Premier League Mobile Subscription during the Promo Period; and,
• Customers that previously had a subscription plan on Showmax Pro; and,
• Customers under condition paragraph (i) and (ii) that receive an e-mail or SMS offer of this Premier League Off Season promotion; and,
• Customers that are resident in any one of the Territories.

2.3 Showmax will send to you a link with a 1 month promo access code that you will have to enter on the Showmax Platform to activate and register your Showmax Entertainment Mobile Subscription Plan.

2.4 Your subscription to Showmax Entertainment Mobile Subscription Plan shall be valid for 30 (thirty) days and it must be used during the Promo Period.

2.5 If you terminate your subscription to the Showmax Premier League during the Promo Period, you will not qualify for the Premier League Off Season promotion.

2.6 When this Premier League Off Season promotion ends, you may purchase the Showmax Subscription at http://www.showmax.com

2.7 It will not be possible to share or transfer the Premier League Off Season promotion once you have accepted the offer from Showmax.

2.8 Only one promo access code will be made available per customer in each Territory.

2.9 Showmax reserves the right at any time and for any reason to terminate the Premier League Off Season promotion.

Privacy

Showmax will process your personal data for the purpose of offering you this Premier League Off Season promotion by e-mail and your subscription to the Showmax Service as more fully described in the Showmax Privacy Policy which you can find at https://stories.showmax.com/privacy-policy/. The Showmax Privacy Policy is updated from time to time, and it explains how we treat your personal information, who we share your information with, and measures taken to protect your privacy when you use our Showmax Service. If you do not wish to receive any promotional or marketing material from Showmax, you can change your marketing preferences in the settings toggle of your account in Showmax or by sending us your opt-out on help@showmax.com.
