Smothered S1
Smothered follows Sammy and Tom, two strangers – both disillusioned with dating – who meet on a night out at a karaoke bar and strike a deal to have a no-strings-attached fling, then go their separate ways. But when the great sex, pasta in bed and first-names-only arrangement turns into something more, the pair have to deal with the practicalities of falling in love.
Black Reel nominee Danielle Vitalis (Attack the Block, Famalam) and BAFTA nominee Jon Pointing (Sweetpea) co-star, earning Smothered a 2024 BAFTA nomination for its casting. Also look out for BAFTA-winning comedian Aisling Bea, Emmy winner Blair Underwood (Longlegs, L.A. Law), Rebecca Lucy Taylor (AKA musician Self Esteem) and Insta-famous comedian and author Harry Trevaldwyn.
