Created by Emmy nominee Shawn Ryan (The Shield) and Aaron Rahsaan Thomas (The Get Down), S.W.A.T. has been nominated for Critics’ Choice Super Awards for Best Action Series and Best Actor in an Action Series (for Shemar Moore), as well as four Emmys for its stunt coordination.
Deacon (Jay Harrington) and Nichelle Carmichael (Rochelle Aytes) are back in Season 7, with Anna Enger Ritch (The Haunting of Hill House) joining the cast as Zoe Powell.
CBS has renewed the hit show for an eighth season.
