The Equalizer S1-5
Oscar nominee Queen Latifah stars as single mom Robyn McCall, aka “The Equalizer”, an anonymous guardian angel who helps those with nowhere else to turn.
The fifth and final season of the hit series comes with the prospect of love on the horizon for more than one of our favourite characters, if they can survive the return of an old enemy …
As McCall, Queen Latifah has been nominated for three Critics Choice Awards, four Black Reel Awards, four People’s Choice Awards and a BET Award, and won Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series at the 2025 Image Awards, where co-star and Critics Choice winner Lorraine Toussaint (Vee Parker in Orange Is the New Black) was up for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
Black Reel nominee Michael Michele (ER, Dynasty) joins the cast this season. Also look out for a guest appearance from People’s Choice winner Titus Welliver (aka Bosch).
Nominated for Drama Show of the Year at the People’s Choice Awards, The Equalizer is a reimagining of the 1980s series, which also inspired the Denzel Washington films of the same name.
