The Good Doctor follows Dr Shaun Murphy, a surgeon with autism and Savant syndrome. The farewell season starts with Shaun and Lea (Paige Spara) adjusting to parenthood as Shaun takes on his first case back at the hospital: two baby patients in need of the same heart.
Created by Emmy-winning showrunner David Shore (House MD), The Good Doctor has an 8/10 rating on IMDb and has won multiple awards, with Best Actor nominations for Freddie Highmore at the Golden Globes, People’s Choice Teen Choice and Critics Choice awards.
The Good Doctor goes out on a high: its 10th and final episode this season is also its highest-rated yet on IMDb, with a 9.4/10 score.
