The Mommy Club: Sugar & Spice's Lenore on going under the knife
Lenore recently went to visit a doctor. And before you get worried, it’s not related to a health scare. The mother and businesswoman would like to make some changes on her body and has allowed viewers to be part of that journey.
Accompanied by her daughter, Meah, Lenore went to a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. “I’m coming for my second consultation with doc about my breast augmentation surgery that I’d like to have,” she explained.
Undecided

When asked how she’s doing, she told the doctor that she’s okay and has had a lot to think about since their last consultation. She told him she’s spoken to her husband and children to get their opinion. “But I think I’m still not 100 percent decided on size yet… And then I think I still have the fibromyalgia issue lingering at the back of my head. Would it or would it not be an issue the fact that I have fibromyalgia?"
Lenore shared that she’s been under the knife a couple of times but that was more for her health condition. “I’ve never really gone under the knife for something cosmetic,” she said. The doctor explained that he’s looking for something natural and more proportional to her figure.
A confidence boost

“It terms of the medical issues, with regard to the implant, there’s been a lot of research probably for 40-50 years. And obviously what they want to look at is whether patients that have an implant, whether it can cause fibromyalgia and also other auto immune diseases,” the doctor said. He added that there’s no evidence of that. “Even if the implant had to leak, remember, there’s no implant that’s guaranteed to last you the rest of your lifetime.”

The doctor’s explanation put Lenore at ease. “This is going to be great because it’s going to give you that confidence you’ve been lacking this whole time. I just think that finding the correct dress without having to tailor it and adjust it to fit you, I think it’s going to be really good for you,” Meah told her mother.
Lenore expressed her happiness, sharing that she just wants to stop shopping in the 13-14-year-old bra size. “Even if it’s the tiniest section in the ladies’ section. I just want to move up one, and I’d like to wear matching underwear.”
