The Real Housewives of Durban S4: No apology for Ameigh
Are the ladies committed to healing or not? It doesn’t look like it, especially because old things keep coming to the surface. On the latest episode of the hit Showmax reality show, The Real Housewives of Durban S4, Ameigh made it clear that she wants nothing to do with Zama. This is after an old conversation between Zama and Angel was brought up and some unpleasant things were said about Ameigh during that chat.
A fake hijacking?
“So, there has been a recording. Angel has told me about this recording some time ago but I knew it was gonna upset me,” Ameigh shared during the ladies’ picnic in Namibia. She explained that she was livid when she heard the recording because Zama had apologised to her. “And next thing, she said some foul things.”

It was revealed that the recording happened the day before Jojo’s event. Ameigh said: “Now what makes me so upset is the fact that you keep saying, in the recording ‘do you know why she faked the hijacking? She has a man that’s in prison’.” According to Ameigh, this news was never a secret. “And just to correct you, he’s not a fraudster, he’s a drug dealer and I put it out there that he was in prison,” she told Zama.
No apology
However, Zama doesn’t seem to understand why she’s upset because this news has apparently been all over social media. “It’s sitting in all the platforms, even you can search for it. It is there. There’s no new information that I provided,” Zama said. What upsets Ameigh the most is the fact that Zama keeps mentioning her children and her suggesting that she’s using her children for content.

Zama refused to apologise. “You’re not gonna get an apology from me,” Zama said. This resulted in Ameigh pouring champagne on Zama, which led to Zama getting up and walking away. Ameigh then played the recording for the rest of the ladies. In the audio, Zama is heard talking about Ameigh faking her hijacking and alleging that she was cheating on her man. “Girls can stage. Now she’s using the kid card to stage anything and involve children… I thought it was the shameless things and I was questioning that,” Zama is heard saying.

Will the theme of healing continue after this? Only time will tell. Watch new episodes of The Real Housewives of Durban every Wednesday on Showmax.
