Undugu S1
Hosted by seasoned media personality Dina Marios, Undugu is a reality series exploring sibling rivalries. These may have been triggered by a range of issues, including inheritance disputes, competitiveness, jealousy, and favouritism by parents. These conflicts often extend beyond the siblings themselves, spilling into the next generation and affecting their children.
Rooted in the Swahili concept of “Undugu” – meaning brotherhood, sisterhood, and familyhood – the show emphasises kinship, understanding, and the bonds that define familial relationships.
With each episode, Undugu delves into complex topics such as grief over the loss of parents, unmet expectations, bullying, emotional and physical abuse, dishonesty, and power struggles. It also highlights themes of ego, lack of responsibility, compassion, and unresolved accusations that perpetuate division.
Through heartfelt storytelling and expert mediation, Undugu offers hope, healing, and a path toward reconciliation.
