Who are the favourites for the 2024 UEFA EURO spectacle?
It’s been difficult to single out a favourite at this year’s UEFA EURO spectacle.
With some big teams yet to hit form, and with others looking unconvincing so far, picking out a winner this year’s EUROs has proved a challenge.
However, bookies have singled out their favourites for the tournament now that the final eight teams have been confirmed.
Showmax looks at the bookie’s favourites for the UEFA EUROs and who stands the biggest chance of being crowned kings of Europe this year.

1. England

Despite their disappointing performances at this year’s tournament, the Three Lions are still listed as favourites to win the EUROs.
England have had somewhat of an underwhelming Group Stage, with draws against Denmark (1-1) and Slovenia (0-0) following an initially hopeful but conservative win over Serbia (1-0). Gareth Southgate's side were even on the precipice of elimination from the tournament against Slovakia when they were being led 1-0 going into added time in the Round of 16.
Jude Bellingham had other ideas when his spectacular overhead kick brought England level in the 95th minute, precipitating a comeback in extra time when Harry Kane headed the Three Lions into the lead, and into the quarter-finals. With an easier route to the final, with a test against Switzerland on Saturday, Gareth Southgate's men are still the favourites to win UEFA Euro 2024. The feeling, however, is that the best is still yet to come from England in Germany.
2. France

Les Bleus clearly have the individual talent to go far into the tournament but some below-par performances and a significant lack of attacking spirit and (worryingly) goals, belies the 2022 World Cup finalists' Euro 2024 campaign so far. They have made history as the only side to have qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition without scoring a single goal from open-play, following their Last 16 win over Belgium thanks to an own-goal from Jan Vertonghen.
France kicked off their tournament with a win against Austria (1-0) before being held by the Netherlands (0-0) in Leipzig. They followed up with another draw against Poland (1-1) thanks to an Mbappé penalty to finish second in Group D before they faced Belgium in the last 16.
Les Bleus had to leave it late against the Belgian Red Devils to score and qualify for a challenging quarter-final clash against Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo on what is set to be a blockbuster on Friday evening. Like England, the feeling is that the best is still yet to come from Les Bleus at Euro 2024.
3. Germany

Die Mannshaft are the hosts, and they have been living up to hype in their home country so far as one of the more impressive sides at EURO 2024 along with Portugal. Their odds have been slashed considerably as Julian Nagelsmann's men have shown a steadfast solidity in their performances and results so far.
The Germans kicked off their tournament with a 5-1 win over Scotland, going on to easily qualify top of Group A before facing Denmark in the Last 16. In rain-drenched Dortmund, they would end up beating the Danes (2-0) to now face Spain in the quarter-finals. Evidently, Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz have been the stars in midfield, but nothing characterises their 'team spirit' like the contributions of super-sub striker Niclas Füllkrug.
4. Spain

- @5.00 on Betway
Spain have been one the more impressive sides at EURO 2024 for far, opening their tournament confidently with a 3-0 win over Croatia in Berlin, before winning a second crunch match against big rivals Italy (1-0).
With a style of play which is spreading goals around the pitch and is driven by key midfield performances of Rodri and a revitalised Fabian Ruiz, Spain blew apart an underdog Georgia side (4-1) in the Last 16.
Goals from Rodri, Fabian Ruiz, Nico Williams, and Dani Olmo overcame what was an original surprise lead for the Georgians following a Robin Le Normand own goal.
Their odds have been significantly slashed since the beginning of the tournament, likely rightly so because they have been one of the most convincing attacking sides at the tournament so far. Yet, they face a huge test in the quarterfinals against hosts Germany on Friday evening which will likely be finely balanced.
