MetaCritic’s second-highest-rated series of 2024 so far, Wise Guy: David Chase and the Sopranos focuses on the man behind the cultural phenomenon, which is still in the ten highest rated series of all time on IMDb.
Directed and hosted by Oscar winner Alex Gibney, Wise Guy features firsthand accounts and revelations from the people who brought the groundbreaking mafia series to life, including Emmy winners Lorraine Bracco, Edie Falco, and Michael Imperioli. Twenty-time Grammy winner Bruce Springsteen makes an appearance too.
Season 1 has a 100% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with Empire hailing it as, “The definitive chronicle of The Best Show Ever.”
