Gallery: Mbali’s funeral on The River had everyone in tears
The death of Mbali was a devastating blow to the Dikana family, especially Lindiwe.
Before she died, Mbali and Lindiwe were engaged in a fiery argument that ended in a physical altercation. Lindiwe’s last moments with her daughter haunt her every day as she continues to replay in her mind the last thing she said to Mbali hours before she died in that horrific car accident.
So it was only fitting that the family arranged a spectacular funeral for her – and it was one of the highest-trending episodes on South African TV.
