Terms & Conditions

This “Showmax Special Offer –  South Africa” (hereinafter referred to as “Showmax Special Offer”) terms and conditions apply to the use of the Showmax Special Offer as specified in these terms.

These Showmax Special Offer terms are supplementary to Showmax terms and conditions – South Africa and apply to the use of the Showmax Service together with these Showmax Special Offer terms that govern the use of the Showmax Special Offer and will apply for the duration of the Promo Period.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

1. General Information

a) Showmax Special Offer applies in the territory of South Africa for Showmax Standard Subscription Plan (hereinafter called “Showmax Service Subscription”).

b) Showmax Special Offer is a time limited offer which applies within the Promo Period and which is associated with a special discount on Showmax Service Subscription.

c) Promo Period is a period from 12 July 2021 for not specified period within which you can subscribe to Showmax Service (applicable to prospective Showmax Service customers) and enjoy Showmax Special Offer.

e) Showmax Special Offer applies only to customers using credit or debit cards as their payment instrument.

2. Showmax Special Offer Eligibility 

Showmax Special Offer is available to customers who meet the following requirement:

ii)   Showmax Service customers who are not currently enjoying  Showmax Special Offer.

3.    Pricing & Payments

a)  Showmax Special Offer is associated with a special fixed one off price for Showmax  Subscription plan:

i)   3 months Mobile only for R39    

ii)   3 months All Devices for R99 

iii)  6 months Mobile only for R78

iiii) 6 months All Devices for R198

b) Showmax Special Offer is available as one off special discount on Showmax Subscription, Showmax Special Offer cannot be provided on the basis of recurrent monthly payment.

c) When the Showmax Special Offer lapses your payment settings will be set up for Showmax subscription monthly recurring payments by default – R39 or  R99/month depending upon the plan selected

4. Miscellaneous

1. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to determine whether you are eligible for Showmax Special Offer.
2. Unless otherwise stated, the Showmax terms and conditions – South Africa  shall remain in full force and effect to Showmax service.
3. In case of discrepancy between these terms and Showmax terms and conditions – South Africa, the provisions of these terms will prevail.
4. Unless otherwise extended, this version of Showmax service terms and conditions applies for the Promo Period.
5. Showmax Special Offer stacking is not permitted, unless stated otherwise.
6.  We reserve the right at any time and for any reason to terminate the Showmax Special Offer.
