BBNaija Season 7 Week 8: Chomzy confronts Groovy about his ships

As the BBNaija Level Up season gets closer to the end, we’ve seen the housemates get even more up in their feelings.

This week saw the former Level 2 finally break the Head of House (HoH) jinx as Phyna won the title for Week 8. We also saw the return of evicted housemates Chomzy, Doyin and Eloswag as Biggie’s guests, then there was Chomzy interrogating Groovy, and much more.

Here are the highlights of what went down in the BBNaija Level Up house this week.

Phyna wins Head of House

This week’s HoH game had the male housemates and female housemates competing separately. At the end of Round One, there were four finalists – Adekunle and Sheggz for the guys, with Phyna and Daniella leading the ladies.

Each finalist played vigorously in Round Two, but Phyna finished the task first and emerged as the winner, choosing Groovy as her deputy. However, while Groovy has access to the HoH lounge, he did not have immunity from possible eviction.

During the Sunday eviction, Biggie introduced a new twist – the Level 3 house, which would accommodate the newly evicted housemates.

The evicted housemates Chomzy, Eloswag and Doyin were the first to move to Level 3 as Biggie’s guests, without the other housemates knowing. They were, however, reunited with the Level Up housemates on Tuesday.

But it would appear that not everyone was genuinely happy to see the trio back in the BBNaija house.

During their diary session, Chomzy said some housemates were unhappy to see her return, while Eloswag said there was joy and excitement when they saw him at first, but the house went quiet later on. For her part, Doyin said the housemates were not happy about her return, and she has learned that not everyone is not a true friend.

While in the wager-task presentation meeting, Bella, Sheggz and Chomzy started to talk about Eloswag’s food allocation from before the Sunday eviction, and Phyna voiced her disapproval.

Bella, who did not take kindly to being shushed, responded that Phyna had no right to tell her what to talk about. Phyna took offence at Bella’s response, and before we could say BBNaija Level Up, the pair started a heavy exchange of words, with Phyna asking Bella at some point
“Who raised you?”.

This question got Sheggz all riled up, as he stepped in to defend his lady, gingering Groovy to also stand up to Sheggz for verbally abusing his partner.

On Tuesday morning, Adekunle, Bella, Daniella, Dotun, Sheggz and Hermes had a discussion about
why the former Level 1 housemates always won the HoH challenge.

While Hermes and Sheggz claimed they won because of their strength, Daniella disagreed and said the Level 1 housemates were just enjoying grace. As the conversation went on, an upset Daniella eventually walked out. She was soon joined by Adekunle, who went to comfort her, later
agreeing with Daniella’s opinion about the former Level 1 housemates and the benefits of grace.

Chomzy versus Groophy

Chomzy is forcing loopholes out of the Phyna and Groovy situation even if phyna is clearly explaining the whole Beauty, Amaka and Groovy situation as it happened. Chomzy doesn't listen or think before she speaks

After their Wednesday Showmax movie night and sleepover, Phyna decided to spill hot tea on Groovy’s past crushes – Amaka and Beauty.

Chomzy took the opportunity to also ask Groovy a question that had obviously been troubling her. She was curious as to how Groovy easily moved on from Beauty to Phyna in less than a week.

“Why didn’t you give her the respect for at least a week?”.

Phyna jumped in to defend her man by saying Groovy actually spent a week alone before finding comfort in her arms.

Could Chomzy be upset over Groovy not picking her?
