Introducing The Real Housewives of Durban

After the wild success of two seasons of The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, the international franchise is taking us to the sunny shores of KwaZulu-Natal for The Real Housewives of Durban, hitting Showmax subscribers’ screens from 29 January 2021.

Six eThekwini queens will draw back the curtains to give us a glimpse of their glamorous lives, filled with fashion, parenting challenges, business hustles, family issues and enviable spending sprees.

Here are the women you’ll meet when The Real Housewives of Durban lands!

Kgomotso Ndungane

Viewers will meet Kgomotso Ndungane, the wife of former Sharks and Springbok winger Odwa Ndungane. Kgomotso Ndungane owns an events and floral business called Oak Celebrations and recently launched her own luxury home, body and bath product line, Lelapa.

Ayanda Ncwane

Entertainment mogul Ayanda Ncwane is the widow to the late gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane. Ayanda has since built a business empire through her artist management and entertainment business that is said to be keeping Sfiso’s legacy alive. Her intriguing life and her high fashion sense is set to keep viewers glued to their screens.

Nonku Williams

Nonku Williams, a divorcee and mother of three, is the founder of Ashes to Beauty Winery. Viewers will get to know more about her beyond her designer outfits, business interests and fashion accessories.

Sorisha Naidoo

Meet former actress, DJ and businesswoman Sorisha Naidoo, who, through her company SSBO, imports about 25 international beauty products. Sorisha is a mother of two and she’s married to businessman Vivian Reddy. She is also a former Miss India South Africa.

Nonkanyiso Conco

The gorgeous Nonkanyiso Conco runs her own beauty brand called Laconco Naturals. Nonkanyiso gets booked as a motivational speaker at business and women’s events as well as isiZulu cultural events. She hosts and organises women empowerment seminars and also mentors young girls.

Annie Ludick

Annie runs her own events and marketing company, as well as a dance agency. Her dancers are hired for high-profile events around the city, and she also owns a salon called Annaesthetic, which she plans to franchise in the next three years. Annie is planning her white wedding to Durban businessman Kgolo Mthembu in April.
