It’s season two of Unmarried, and the men are still scum

It is a new season on Africa Magic’s Unmarried, now streaming on Showmax as well, but not much has changed, the men on the show, from Lotanna to Chuka to Nosa, are still scum. Season one ended with Funbi pregnant and being chased again by Chuka; Nengi leaving her driver-turned-lover Weynom and Nosa proposing to Kamsi, only to find out she’s been cheating on him.

The new season starts months after the events above, and there are plenty of new beginnings.

Nosa and Kamsi are now officially dating. Nengi has moved on from Weynom and is hanging around another unemployed guy (Tobi from Big Brother Naija). Funbi is in labour. Although these new developments look great for the women of Unmarried, their lives aren’t the fairy tales they deserve.

Funbi gives birth, then loses her baby and is devastated. She went through the pregnancy without involving Chuka because he didn’t want more kids and was more interested in her body and enjoying her without kids. She’s also left Chuka to focus on improving herself, and he hasn’t reacted well to it. He’s tried to take back the house and car he gave her, but they are now in her name so he can’t.

But Chuka isn’t the only man being awful this season. Lotanna has taken the kids away from Kamsi since she chose Nosa. Kamsi thinks he means well, but her girls think Lota is bitter about their breakup and punishes her with the kids. Her only comfort is Nosa, who has been a charming boyfriend. But all that might change after she catches him in bed with another lady.

Nengi, on the other hand, has moved on from her former job and set up her company to rival her former employers. She’s also forgotten her ex-lovers and is messing around with another jobless, horny boy. She has been with this new guy for two months and thinks he is just a fling, but her girls think there is more.
