Here’s what the Housewives had to say about their return.
Nonkanyiso Conco aka LaConco
“I’m coming back for the same reason I joined the show when it started and more. There have been a lot of misconceptions about me, especially about the father of my child. People don’t know me, but they have so many opinions, very negative opinions. However, since my appearance on the show – and when people see me in public – they acknowledge how their notions about me were so wrong.
“I’d also like to add that I’m a very spiritual person. God has been the driving force in this entire experience because leading up to even the first season, everything happened so quickly. I wasn’t even sure about this, but when the moment came to make a decision, everything just fell into place. I remember being so emotional when speaking to the psychologist provided by production – a year ago my situation was so different in comparison to now.
“Season 1 was me introducing myself to the public. In Season 2 I am taking abo mge bami (my friends) that I have created a bond with through the show to my house. I’m also giving them a journey to my heart, meaning I’m opening up a bit more in this season.”
Nonku Williams
“I’ve returned for numerous reasons and one of those reasons is because I really do love the show and I believe that I’m healing a lot of women by sharing my life experiences.”
Annie Mthembu
“For me it’s mostly about brand building. I’ve seen the huge impact that Season 1 had on my brand, my salon and my other various businesses. The show has also opened quite a few doors for me so I just want to continue with that momentum.”
Sorisha Naidoo
“I had an amazing time in Season 1, I made good relationships with the ladies. We continue to be friends on and off the set. So I just thought it would be a great idea to come back and continue the friendship and to continue to share the love. I also want to take the lessons I’ve learned in the previous season into this new one. I want to be more tolerant, more patient and to speak my mind more in this season because I tend not to do that.”
And in case you were wondering, yes, Mabusi is also in the new season!
