Meet the new faces of Housekeepers
Season 1 of the drama series Housekeepers ended with a lot of unanswered questions, and now with Season 2 in full swing, we cannot wait to see what Linda and co have in store for us.
Mzansi Magic says that Season 2 is going to be yet another nail-biter, full of twists and turns.
The new season will also introduce some new faces and familiar favourites to the cast. Take a look at who’s joining the series, and then catch up on Season 1 on Showmax while you wait for new episodes of Season 2 to land on Showmax every week.
Sthembiso Khoza (Sydney Ngubane)

He’s no stranger to Mzansi Magic shows and feels honoured to be sharing his talent on Housekeepers S2. Sthembiso, famously known as Shaka on The Queen, plays the role of Sydney Ngubane, an intelligent lawyer who is said to add an interesting element into an already entertaining storyline.
Lorcia Kumalo (Mkhonto)

SAFTA winner Lorcia Kumalo, who plays fan-favourite Tyson in Lockdown, is another talented star we are excited to see form part of the cast.
Lorcia plays the role of Mkhonto, a corrupt and powerful official.
“What drew me to this character is that you get to see a woman who is in the position of power. Mkhonto plays a typically male role but still keeps her female aesthetic and I love that duality about her. I love that she is someone that is so dangerous and yet so elegant,” Lorcia said in a recent interview with Mzansi Magic.
Xolile Tshabalala (Noli Ngubane)

Another immensely talented addition to the cast is Xolile, who is no stranger to local drama series.
Here, she plays the role of Noli. Xolile describes Noli as a loving yet very distant and controlling woman who is trying to build an empire by any means necessary.
Kwezi Ndlovu (Tshidi Ngubane)

Kwezi, who is fairly new to the industry, plays the role of Tshidi Ngubane, a brave young go-getter.
Dumisani Mbebe

This season also brings us the well-loved star Dumisani Mbebe, who plays the role of a detective who attempts to help solve an intricate case that involves Linda (Thando Thabethe).
Thando Thabethe (Linda)

Linda, certainly not new to the show, but the lead character, played by Thando Thabethe, is thrown in the deep end yet again in the second instalment as she tries to fix all the wrongs committed in the first season.
In Season 2, Linda is introduced to a new family (the Ngubanes), who are entangled with the scandals of the Zwide family, whose lives Linda had a big impact on in the first season.
Housekeepers Season 2 airs every Monday, express to Showmax from Mzansi Magic.
