Nengi from BBNaija Lockdown sparked a Twitter frenzy and more moments from the launch
The BBNaija Lockdown season kicked off Sunday 19 July, and is being live-streamed 24/7 on Showmax. The 20 housemates were ushered into the show after a 14-day quarantine period and will remain in the house for 10 weeks.
In true BBNaija style, social media was on fire as fans expressed their excitement at the start of a new season. Here are 5 moments from the season premiere that had social media buzzing.
1. Ebuka’s outfits
As usual, four-time host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu did not disappoint with his outfits. Ebuka was dapper in a maroon and black encrusted suit. He ended the evening with a Benin-inspired outfit as he ushered the housemates into their new home. Fans took to social media to comment on Ebuka’s outfits.
2. Ozor’s brainy good looks
27-year-old Ozoemena Chukwu aka Ozor was the first housemate to be introduced, and what a start! From the moment he stepped on stage, Ozor stole the show with his good looks and brains. He’s a first-class graduate of Economics. We can’t wait to see what he’ll get up to in the house.
3. Dorathy’s entrance
Dorathy caused a major stir on social media from the moment she was introduced to viewers. She bust burst onto the stage and immediately began to trend on Twitter, on account of her spectacular bosom. The 24-year-old described herself as a person with good vibes and already has fans stanning.
4. Nengi’s beauty
Just as Dorathy caused a stir with her bosoms, Nengi drove Twitter wild with her looks. The 22-year old is a former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) top 5 contestant and quickly had fans polling her against Dorathy for the hot favourite. While on stage, Nengi shared with Ebuka that her looks were just an addition, as she has so much more to offer.
5. Laycon’s vibes
The housemates may have spent less than 24 hours in the house, but it’s safe to say that Laycon emerged the meme champion of the Lockdown season premiere. The 26-year-old artist found himself on the receiving end of many jabs from fans on social media.
