The 2 Pilots (2019)

Kwadwo Nkansah aka Lil Win (Adiyah, Azonto Ghost) and comedian Richard Asante aka Kalybos (Boys Kasa, Chocolate City) are flying into trouble in The 2 Pilots, a Ghanaian crime-caper action movie. They play two career criminals who’re on the run from the police after pulling off daring heists. But how do they escape? They literally fly over the authorities’ heads.

As you’ll have guessed, the movie is set onboard a plane as the two lead characters pose as pilots on a commercial flight. The problem is that they don’t know how to fly – which they only realise after taking off! So now they’re stuck in the sky with passengers panicking.

Lilwin and Kalybos are brilliant at being baddies, kidnapping two pilots and taking their places. The script is fun and light-hearted, while at the same time packed full of adventure and action.

The 2 Pilots is directed by Jones Agyeman, and also stars Kwaku Manu, Benedicta Gafah, and Akrobeto.
