The Queen: The Sebata daughters are here to shake things up
Season 5 of The Queen has introduced us to an immensely talented pool of new cast members who have undoubtedly made a great contribution to the riveting drama that is displayed on The Queen. And this week is no exception as we are introduced to two gorgeous yet troublesome characters.
Meet Thando Sebata
Former Isibaya actress Jessica Nkosi made her debut as Thando Sebata, the firstborn daughter of Colonel Hector Sebata.
Thando is headstrong, feisty, an independent thinker, and her father’s right-hand woman. She is the son Hector never had. Whether she plans to own up and take over Hector’s side hustle when the time comes remains to be seen.
A daughter who gets the job done
Thando gets the job done and on time. Not only did she finish a job in one shot, but she also made sure that she handled business to help her father assume territory in the drug dealing business.
Jaros (played by Kenneth Nkosi) arranged a secret meet up with Vuyiswa and, it seems like he was ready to spill the beans about Jerry’s death. Just as Vuyiswa was getting close to finding out the truth about who killed Jerry, Thando kills Jaros.
Thando then made a surprise appearance at Skhumbuzo’s meeting with his business partner. Without saying much, Thando dropped a stash of cocaine and her phone number to keep in touch – a clear indication that Ms Sebata is not here to play games.
Mpho Sebata: Hector’s princess
Ntando Duma also made her debut on the telenovela as Mpho Sebata, Hector’s youngest daughter. Mpho is clueless about the drug business her dad and sister are involved in.
She is also a spoiled brat who lives on Instagram, enjoys the finer things in life and doesn’t respect her elders. For some time, the Sebata family were looking for a helper to assist in the house. They finally hire Petronella who hasn’t had a job since Gracious Mabuza’s passing. It’s not even a week of working there and Petronella already puts Mpho in her place and reprimands her for being a disrespectful child.
The Queen S5 is not holding back when it comes to its star-studded cast and unpredictable plots and twists.
